We thank all our concert-goers, visitors and patrons for their support for the 40th FIMF in 2009.

‘.......and it was a ‘masterstroke’ to end the Festival with The Temperance Seven on Saturday.... a musical and very funny show ......’
Mr  P Harwood             Newport

‘....as always a full and friendly week with plenty of music of the highest standards and conviviality at the Fishguard Bay Hotel and elsewhere’.
D & G Cambridge, Bolton

‘......and the opening concert by the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera must rank as one of the best orchestral concerts we’ve heard in West Wales in over 20 years of attendance atFishguard’.

(WNO with James Lowe & Peter Donohoe)                             Cheshire visitors

‘...........and Richard Jenkinson continues to raise his profile in West Wales – his ‘cello playing is outstanding.....  an absolutely stunning performance of the Mendelssohn Octet on Friday morning at St. Peters, Goodwick   .............outstanding music and fabulous playing ........ Mike Matthews, Fishguard – Sponsor

It is difficult to see how this performance of Handel’s ‘Messiah’ could be improved on         (John S Davies Singers, Orchestra and soloists in St. Davids Cathedral); this sell-out performance was both excellent and thrilling. (Fishguard Concert-Goer)

And ......... this gem of a Welsh Festival deserves all the support it can get from the Arts Council of Wales.  They and all the sponsors, patrons and friends etc. must be very proud of this Festival’s achievements- long may it continue.

We thank all our concert-goers, visitors and patrons for their support for the 40th FIMF in 2009.
